Hand crafted with the ancient technique handed down through generations of family, each piece is unique as the artist. We love the beauty of each item having its own individual feel and made by a artisan who wholly supports their family by their craft. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of these items goes to Lend a Hand Uganda - USA, a organization focused on improving the lives of Ugandan children and their families.
When a product is made from an animal product, we always look for companies that participate in the use of the whole animal and acquire the product humanely. We searched long for a company who humanely acquired the cow horn for the use of this ancient craft of horn products so we could bring you this craft that has been handed down through generations. The Ankole Cow is a revered domestic cow in Uganda and symbolizes wealth to families. Killing of an Ankole Cow is only done for the animals best interest when either old or ailing and not used for their meat. Ugandan’s then use the entire animal to create beautiful items in honor of their revered family member.

- Size: JAM spoon approx 8” L, SUGAR spoon approx
- Care: Hand wash with mild soap and water. Dry immediately. Not dishwasher or microwave safe. Do not soak your horn products as this could warp and/or discolor your beautiful horn product.
